Justice, Peace, and Faith: Thoughts on Life
After being rasied in Northeast Ohio my entire life, I have found myself a bit of a nomad for the past seven years, though I have now returned home. Through this time of living in three different major cities (Philly, Cleve, NYC), working in a variety of different jobs, completing a Master's degree and working on a second one, I have grown and learned more than I could have ever imagined. Between fighting for economic human rights and organizing events for missionaries, this blog is where I have choose to share those experiences that have challenged and excited me in the past, as well as new ones that do so in the present.
Thought I would share a picture I love...This picture was taken by Harvey Finkle (www.harveyfinkle.com) at the Bushville Tent City in Brooklyn, NY during the week before the 2004 Republican National Convention. The Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign organized the tent city and a later unpermitted march of 5,000 through Manhattan on the opening day of the convention. How amazing people are when they organize to be heard...
